Ordering
This website is based on a Shopify template and so the payment mechanisms are all based on those provided by that platform. If you would prefer not to order online, you can do so via an email to info@ospreyco.com and we can send you a secure link for payment by credit card.
Public bodies etc
If you are working for a public body or other organisation and would prefer to place an order by email for invoicing and payment by BACS, that would be fine too. Depending upon circumstances, however, it would be preferable if a payment could be made before scheduled delivery.
Orders outside the UK
Our website is currently only set up to accept orders from within the UK. If you are based elsewhere and would like to place an order, please get in touch by emailing info@ospreyco.com and we will look into what can be done to accommodate your needs.
Pricing
We always try to keep our prices as low as possible so unfortunately there is not generally scope to allow special discounts to customers, except in exceptional circumstances.
Please note that The Osprey Company is no longer VAT registered so there is no VAT element within our prices.
Delivery times
Although virtually all of our products are made to order, we generally aim to despatch within 7 working days from receiving online orders. We almost always use Royal Mail/Parcelforce 24 Hour Services which should mean you can expect delivery within 10 - 14 days.
If, for any reason, your order is likely to take longer than that, we undertake to let you know by email at the earliest opportunity. If you need delivery in time for a specific day or event, please let us know by email when ordering and we will endeavour to despatch in good time for that, wherever possible.
Returns policy
As our products are, for the most part, long-established and proven by customers' use over extended periods of time, incidences of goods needing to be returned to us are genuinely extremely rare. If an item should be found to be damaged, defective or unsuitable, we would ask that the customer informs us of that fact by email within 7 days of delivery and we will either arrange a replacement or, if needs be, agree for the item to be returned to us, in which case we will issue a refund on receipt.
As we are a micro business and our products are all made to order, we would respectfully ask that customers do not order goods on spec and that, if they have any doubts about a particular product being appropriate for their needs, they might perhaps just order one example in the first instance, to assess its suitability. Thank you for your understanding on this matter.
